Job Description:
As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive Azure/AWS cloud
strategies, leading architecture discussions, and ensuring solutions adhere to best practices. You will
collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, oversee cloud migration projects, and
automate deployment processes for scalability and consistency. Additionally, you will provide technical
leadership, mentorship, and stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in BE/Btech/MCA/MSc or equivalent.
- 15+ years of experience in the IT sector.
- Proven expertise as a Cloud Architect with a focus on Azure/AWS.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code principles and tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, etc.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and well-architected cloud solutions.
- Ability to lead architecture discussions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience with cloud migration projects and automation.
- Certifications on AWS/Azure relevant to the role.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Azure/AWS cloud strategy aligned with business goals and industry best
practices.
- Provide strategic guidance on Azure/AWS services and solutions to optimize performance, cost, and
scalability.
- Lead architecture discussions, ensuring solutions adhere to Azure/AWS best practices and compliance
standards.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code principles using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or similar
technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and system integration needs.
- Lead and oversee cloud migration projects, ensuring seamless transition of on-premises systems to Azure.
- Develop migration strategies, assess risks, and implement best practices for efficient and successful
migrations.
- Collaborate with project teams to address technical challenges and ensure minimal business disruption
during migrations.
- Automate deployment processes to achieve consistency, repeatability, and scalability.
- Apply best practices and operating principles to assess, improve, and optimize cloud architectures.
- Conduct regular reviews of existing cloud environments, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to cloud architecture
and Azure/AWS services.
